APPLY FIXTURE: A fixture which is applied to and located by a part or component of the assembly. It may also be used for drilling, cutting or marking the part to which it is applied; for locating other parts in their relative positions and performing drilling, cutting, riveting and bore-sighting or marking operations if requested; or for bonding aluminum shims to steel parts. Tool is designed to suit Engineering dimensions. Hole coordination can be referenced to control tools or the production tools.
