PDSM- PRODUCTION SIMULATION - A PDSM is a Production Simulation tool of rigid construction. A PDSM simulates selected configurations and dimensions of a production part or assembly. A PDM can be used as: (1) A control tool for hole pattern size. (2) A control tool for fabricating other tools. (3) An inspection unit to verify fit and function on the next assembly. (4) A means for providing rigidity to the mating components of the part while installing these mating components.
